Several students in the D.C. area are using the almanac as a learning tool. One of the lessons is a sky awareness activity, in which students use "Bob Ryan's 2003 Almanac & Guide for the Weatherwise" as the primary resource to complete a scavenger hunt of weather- and astronomy-related questions.
