SILVER SPRING, Md. --
The WSSC reported a 16-inch water main break at about 9 a.m. Friday on Piney Branch Road near Sunnyside Drive in Silver Spring.WSSC officials say water to the broken main was shut down at 12:30 p.m. They said workers were in the process of repairing the main and would be on location into the evening.News4 reported that part of the roadway buckled.
