'Dollah Bill' To Sapp: Don't Expect Those Tickets

Portis Unveils Latest Character

The costumes just keep on coming.

Clinton Portis sported another outlandish outfit Thursday during his weekly meeting with the local media.

This time, the Redskins running back wore a purple wig, "COOL" glasses, a dollar-bill chain around his neck and a long, neon-green coat that accentuated the extra "fur" on his chest.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet "Dollah Bill."

As in weeks past, Portis' character made a statement.

Dollah spoke about the matchup against fellow University of Miami alumnus, Warren Sapp, who is a staple on the Oakland Raiders' defensive line.

"Warren Sapp is a hungry man, but coming around messing with Dollah Bill, he will get dealt with," Portis said, in character, of course. "I don't mean no harm, but me and Warren Sapp were money-making friends. ... But today, we're not friends. Next week, we won't be friends. If you don't mind telling him that those 12 tickets he called me about? I can't get them for him. So, Dollah Bill is serious."

Portis was serious during Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay. He racked up 144 yards on 23 carries and scored once on a short jaunt to the right corner of the end zone.

Portis could post good numbers again this week against Sapp and the Raiders. Oakland's defense is ranked 24th in the league. The Raiders are giving up an average of 116 yards per game on the ground.
