POSTED: 6:55 am EDT May 31, 2006
UPDATED: 10:42 am EDT May 31, 2006

Classes began on time Wednesday morning at the Falls Church High School despite an overnight fire.

Fairfax County Fire investigators have deemed the early-morning fire an accident. Investigators believe the cause of the fire was electrical in nature, specifically a laptop computer that was left plugged in.

Fire officials said the fire started shortly after 3 a.m. in an administrative office at the school, located in the 7500 block of Jaguar Trail.

The flames were quickly put out by firefighters and officials said no one was hurt. The fire was contained to the office of origin, officials said.
