WASHINGTON -- Workers at the Tivoli Theater added some last-minute touches to the restored D.C. landmark Wednesday.

After years in the dark, the theater will once again light up the corner of 14th Street and Park Road in Columbia Heights. The official unveiling of the project takes place Wednesday night.
The Tivoli Theater first opened 80 years ago. It went into decline after the 1968 riots. It closed in 1976.Neighbors fought to have the theater reopened.
