Stranger Grabs 13-Year-Old Reston Girl

RESTON, Va. -- Fairfax County police are searching for a man they said tried to abduct a 13-year-old girl.

Police said it happened Friday morning at the North Point Village Center in Reston, when a stranger started a conversation with the girl. He then tried to kiss and grab her.

She got away unhurt, but police said the incident should be a warning to others. Detectives said if a stranger approaches, ignore them and walk away.

The girl ran to an area business after getting away from the man Friday and called police.
