FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- Two people are facing charges in connection with the death of a food delivery driver from Fredericksburg.

The body of abducted Chinese food deliveryman, Yong Hui Zhang, was found in a remote location in Sussex County on Sunday morning. His car was discovered nearby.

Investigators on Saturday obtained warrants charging Jermaine Montgomery, 34, and Marcey White, 36, with abduction, conspiracy to commit abduction, carjacking, conspiracy to commit carjacking, credit card theft and conspiracy to commit credit card theft, according to a press release.

The two were arrested at a Walmart in Franklin, Va., on Saturday evening. Police said Montgomery was caught on surveillance tape, accused of using the victim's credit card.

Police said they believe Montgomery and White were involved in Zhang's disappearance.

Police said Zhang left his parents' China Express restaurant on Jefferson Davis Highway at about 9:20 p.m. Thursday to make three deliveries. When he didn't return by closing time, his relatives contacted police.

Zhang was apparently ambushed behind an apartment building, police said.

The cause of death for Zhang had not yet been determined. Investigators are gathering evidence.

"We are deeply saddened by this tragic turn of events," said Chief David Nye. "Our hearts go out to the Zhang family for their terrible loss."

Officers checked one of the delivery sites and found evidence of a violent crime. Officials said they found a large amount of blood and a shoe that could belong to Zhang.
