Middle School Teacher Accused Of Producing Child Porn

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- A middle school teacher in Prince William County has been accused of making child pornography.John Byron Shulick, 53, of Catlett, Va., was arrested Friday. He is a teacher at Bull Run Middle School.Prosecutors said Shulick met a 16-year-old girl from Fairfax County through a social networking Web site between October 2007 and March 2008 and took pictures of her engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Police searched Shulick's residence on March 12 and found images of child pornography on his computer.Police said some of the images depicted minors identified by authorities in other investigations.Anyone with information is asked to contact Fairfax County Police Department's Child Exploitation Unit at 703-246-7827 or the Fairfax County police nonemergency number at 703-691-2131.
