RIVERDALE, Md. -- One local community is taking a high-tech approach to fighting crime. The 7,000-person town of Riverdale Park is the first municipality in Maryland to take part in CrimeReports.com. With the click of a mouse, residents can tell what crimes are happening in their neighborhood.
Crime reports are broken down block-by-block and updated on a daily basis.
