SEAT PLEASANT, Md. -- Police are looking into the possibility that the person found dead at a CVS store in Seat Pleasant may have been a burglar.About 9:30 a.m. Saturday, workers at the pharmacy on Martin Luther King Jr. Highway said they started smelling a foul odor. When they investigated, they found a man's body in the ventilation system in the basement of the building.
Police said they are not sure how the man got there. They don't even know who he was. But they are investigating the possibility that he was burglarizing the business when he got stuck or fell in the vent system.Police said the body was likely there for a number of days before it was discovered, an unsettling thought for some customers."When I came here and saw the area taped up, I knew something happened," one customer said. "It was shocking … and there's a bad smell in there."
