Madame Tussauds Opens In D.C.

WASHINGTON -- The District's new wax museum is now officially open to the public.National and local lawmakers joined hundreds of guests at a gala inside the old Woodies Department store in Northwest Thursday. That's where Madame Tussauds is now located.
Along with former presidents and other celebrities, visitors can see six figures made especially for D.C. Those include Washington Post editor Bob Woodward and former Mayor Marion Barry.Through Saturday, visitors can check out the wax figures for $10. After that, admission goes up to $25.
