SUITLAND, Md. -- Prince George's County police said a woman was killed Monday night in Suitland, Md.

Police said officers were called to the 4600 block of Lamar Drive about 11:50 p.m. for the report of a found body.

Officers arrived and found a woman with trauma to the upper body, investigators said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the victim was not carrying identification.

Her body was sent to the medical examiner's office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
