WASHINGTON -- For D.C. area residents in the mood for a holiday serenade, they probably should try hailing a cab. But, not just any cab -- Diamond Cab 555.Ricky Celdran will be the singing cab driver behind the wheel. Celdran has been driving cabs for more than four decades.

However, his in-cab serenades began just more than a year ago.Celdran said a broken heart was the catalyst, but now he's on a spiritual journey to spread joy to his passengers.Ricky said he got a taste of the show-business bug from his dad, a cabaret singer who thrilled audiences in the 1950's, but it took him five decades to take the show business plunge.Now, clad in a red cowboy hat, he's the karaoke king."I do it because it brings smiles to peoples' faces. That's my reward," he said.Ricky said he has more than 30 songs that he sings, but the best part is that passengers get to sing along.
