Pickup Truck Hits Pedestrian, Drives Off

MARYLAND CITY, Md. -- Anne Arundel County police are investigating a hit-and-run that happened late Monday night.

Police said it happened around 10:45 p.m. at the corner of Route 198 and Brock Ridge Road in Maryland City.

Police said a pedestrian was struck by a white pickup truck that drove away afterward.

The victim was taken to The University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

The victim's condition is unknown.
