Gas Prices Dip Slightly
Refineries Finish Projects To Increase Production

WASHINGTON -- There's encouraging news for motorists. Gasoline prices have dropped slightly during the past couple of weeks.
Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said refineries have finished several projects designed to maximize output for summer travel. She said that led to the decline in prices.
The national average price for all grades of gasoline fell a little less than 1 cent since July 9, to $1.95 per gallon.Gas prices have declined since peaking at slightly more than $2.10 per gallon on May 21.
