Eun Yang
Eun Yang anchors weekend newscasts on NBC4. During the week, she is a general assignment reporter.
Before joining News4 in 2002, Yang was one of the first reporters hired by the National Geographic Channel in Washington. While there, she traveled all over the world, filing stories for National Geographic Today. Prior to that, Yang was at WUSA-TV for six years, working her way up from a reporter trainee to a substitute anchor.
Born in Seoul, Korea, Yang grew up in the Washington area. She graduated from Paint Branch High School then earned a journalism degree from the University of Maryland. At UMd, she worked for Maryland Update, a program on the University's cable channel. She also freelanced as a special projects reporter for Asian-Pacific American Affairs for TV-58.
Yang lives with her husband and two sons in Washington, D.C.
