HIROSHIMA, Japan -- A bear at a Japanese zoo proves he knows how to handle a bat.

A local baseball team presented the bear, named Claud, with two bats after the bear became famous for twirling a stick.

The Asiatic black bear was intrigued by the bats and quickly began to twirl one of them.

The local baseball team, the Hiroshima Toyo Carp, hoped the bear will bring them some luck.
