Warm Up Aboard The Boomerang Party Bus Santa Pub Crawl
| This past Friday, The DC Scene went along to spread some holiday cheer aboard the Boomerang Party Bus as part of the Santa Pub Crawl. The night started around 8:30 as everyone who was taking part in the crawl met at Rumors just on the edge of Dupont Circle. |  |
 Now, I've ridden the bus twice before, but this time, it would be a little different. Everyone was encouraged to dress in either a Santa costume or their favorite Christmas apparel -- I opted for an ugly women's Christmas tree turtleneck, a $5.99 special I found at K-mart. To comlete my outfit, I added a Santa hat and a Santa sippy cup (you are allowed to bring your favorite beverage aboard the bus).Over the next four hours, we made our way around D.C., stopping at several local hotspots, including Kelly's Irish Times, Play Lounge, Rhino and Modern. At each establishment, the group got to skip the line and also received drink specials such as $2 bottles of beer.The bottom line: if you feel like dressing a little crazy and having a fun night on the town before you head home for the holidays, your opportunity comes this Saturday, Dec. 22 aboard the Boomerang.
